On the evening on Thursday March 20th, the MJFD held a practical drill on multiple operations. The crew of Engine 206 performed a forward lay from a hydrant, then deployed and flowed an 1-3/4″ hoseline to simulate fire attack. Simultaneously, the new Tower 201 was setup for aerial master stream operations with a supply line from Engine 206. Firefighters were rotated through the stations before heavy rain put an end to the training for the evening.
The MJFD is always looking for new members who want to serve our community. You can contact us at 732-329-2001, email us at volunteer@mjvfd.com, or stop by one of our fire stations any Thursday night for more information.
