Our dedicated team of over 30 members, some of whom have been proudly serving the community since 1983, they embody the spirit of volunteerism and excellence in protecting lives and property.

How it all began…

August 8, 1924 – Due to the number of serious fires that had taken place in the area of the last two years, a discussion took place and the idea to form a fire company was presented.

August 15, 1924 – Meeting dedicated solely for the purpose of forming a fire company.

August 24, 1924 – Town-wide meeeting date set . Thirty-four men from the community attended the meeting, they became the charter members of the Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Company.

September 18-20th, 1924 – First Annual Fundraising Carnival was held to help secure the purchase land and equipment. $2,400 was raised.

The fund raising carnival was held every September for over 20 years.
